Greek pensioners to get Christmas money – FAZ – Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung

Good for the pensioners: Greece assumes that the primary surplus in the budget this year, 1.1 percent.

Greece makes its needy pensioners a pre-Christmas gift. A one-time additional payment, was planned to Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras announced on Thursday evening. Would have provided a total of 617 million euros for around 1.6 million pensioners whose monthly pension under 850 Euro.

His government has always pursued the goal to support the Weak, said Tsipras.
