Corporations want less plastic – FAZ – Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung

Plastic bags are convenient, polluting, but also the environment.

In a step to protect the seas 40 of the largest corporations in the world have committed to use less and environmentally friendly plastic. The companies such as Procter and Gable, Unilever, Coca-Cola, Danone, Dow Chemical, joined on Monday in the run-up to the world economic forum of Davos, an Initiative of the British sailor, Ellen MacArthur.

Should not be rapidly done something, would the world be more plastic oceans in the year 2050 as fish contain, warn the signatories. 20 per cent of global plastic production could be recycled for a profit again and a further 50 percent recycled, instead of ending up on waste dumps and the oceans will now spam.
