Policy: the Head of the U.S. securities and exchange Commission – THE WORLD

Wexplains a few days after the victory of Donald Trump in the presidential election, the Head of the U.S. securities and exchange Commission (SEC) has your resignation. Mary Jo White will give up in January – three years before the normal end of their term of office – in your Post of SEC Director, informed the securities and exchange Commission on Monday. Reasons for the resignation were not called.

It is the first resignation of an influential political personality after the election, Trumps. White had taken office in April 2013 with the mission to bring by the outgoing US President, Barack Obama, under the impact of the global financial crisis initiated on Wall Street Reform to the financial statements.

Prior to her time as Head of the securities and exchange Commission White had determined, as a Federal Prosecutor in New York against organized crime. She was also for the legal investigation of the attack on the World Trade Center in 1993 and the attacks on U.S. embassies in Africa in 1998, is responsible.
