 The emirate Kuwait pays for more than one billion euros for 30 new military helicopters. The contract for the long negotiated deal will receive at the end of the European company Airbus Helicopters.

 


 
 

The Gulf emirate of Kuwait buys for more than one billion Euro 30 military helicopters from European manufacturer Airbus Helicopters. French Defense Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian signed in Kuwait a contract, such as the Ministry and the company announced rushed.

Le Drian declared the major contract for the helicopter type H225M Caracal strengthen the strategic partnership, “which connects the two countries for decades.” The department chief said the possibility the common fight against the terrorist militia Islamic State (IS) in Syria and Iraq.
