Worlds Greatest camping fair starts in Dusseldorf – THE WORLD

Dusseldorf – The largest camping fair in the world has opened in Dusseldorf to the public its doors. For this year’s “Caravan Salon” a great interest is expected again. In recent years, each around 200 000 visitors came. More than one in ten came from abroad, mainly the Netherlands.

Camping on four or more wheels is in vogue. The industry expects the current year again achieved substantial gains in registration figures. At the fair more than 2000 vehicles can be seen – from the simply furnished caravan trailer for almost 5,000 euros to the luxury camper for more than one million euros. The exhibition will run until 4 September.
