Seoul South Korea stop the sale of almost all Volkswagen vehicles. Overall, the country withdrew the authorization for 80 models of VW, Audi and Bentley, as the competent authority announced on Tuesday. Additional government grumbled the Wolfsburg-based group to a penalty equivalent to 14.3 million euros. As justification fake documents were called to emissions and noise pollution. VW announced that it would consider legal action. The group described the decision as “very hard”.
VW itself had stopped selling the most vehicles in July. Even then threatened withdrawal of authorization for the 32 models.
