The Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras excludes another tool for his country. “The rescue agreement are over, both in form and in content,” he said in a televised speech to his cabinet. “You can forget a third utility. The Greek people have voted out the programs.” Some would bet on a third auxiliary program in June, but he’ll disappoint.
Instead, one wants to use the next four months to negotiate better conditions for current obligations with international donors, said Greece’s new prime minister. But he did not give details. The Greek government will now work “hard” because “to Greece in a Europe that changes direction to change.”
