The Verdi union has announced further strikes among the employees of Deutsche Post. Postmen will also go today to Verdi-have among other again in Mannheim on the road. Already yesterday, many people had to wait for postal deliveries longer. Many delivery boy had followed a short call to Verdi in the region and had the work laid down. The union is demanding a reduction in working hours without loss of pay for
the nationwide 140 000 salaried employees of the Post. Collective bargaining should be continued on May 8 and 9 in Berlin.
