The Villa of the former top manager Thomas Middelhoff in Bielefeld will be sold quickly.
“The market value of the property is 3.4 million euros,” insolvency administrator Thorsten Fuest said the research network of the Süddeutsche Zeitung, WDR and NDR, as the “Süddeutsche Zeitung” (8.8. / 9.8.) have been reported. Fuest ready to sell before already. The spokesman of Fuest confirmed the information on Friday evening.
The Villa once belonged to the family of entrepreneurs Oetker. Currently they be burdened by a mortgage in favor of Bankhaus Lampe, the Middelhoff owe 1.62 million euros.
Fuest announced against SZ, WDR and NDR, a participation Middelhoff’s to apartments and commercial spaces in Magdeburg sell soon wanting to create mass for creditors. From the exploitation of the fund shares the liquidator expects “an amount to EUR 150 000″.
According to the Fuest spokesman would total more than 50 creditors announced claims against the former Bertelsmann and Arcandor’s CEO. Creditors are requested to register their claims until 31 August. This is a small fee but also afterwards still possible, the spokesman stressed.

Middelhoff himself did not want to, according to SZ, WDR and NDR having regard to its ailing health to request express. The former head of Bertelsmann and the bankrupt previous
company Arcandor had filed personal bankruptcy in late March. The district court Bielefeld had early July insolvency proceedings.
