ver.di: No Kita-strike until mid-September – ZEIT ONLINE

Ver.di chief Frank Bsirske has pledged in Kita-wage dispute that there will be until the end of the summer holidays in Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg in mid-September, no new strikes becomes. Until then, the door was open for further negotiations, Bsirske Tagesschau24 said. The labor disputes should not be split by provinces.

For the time thereafter reiterated Bsirske but the strike threat by his union for municipal day care centers. “I’m assuming that will begin in the first half of October then strikes again”, if by that date no agreement has been reached with employers, Bsirske said.
