Karstadt owner Benko sold the Berlin KaDeWe – a message that makes Facebook a stir. Many users now worry about the future of the traditional house. The reactions in the table
The sale of the Berlin luxury department store KaDeWe in the Italian department store chain La Rinascente impacts the social Netwerken big waves. On Tuesday it became known that Karstadt owner René Benko separated from its majority stake in the total of three luxury houses KaDeWe in Berlin, Alster in Hamburg and Oberpollinger in Munich.
The department store La Rinascente Group, which in turn is majority owned in Thai, a strategic partner will brought on board, the Benko holding Signa said on Tuesday. The Italian company is a successful provider of premium and luxury department stores, it said.
