Every tenth operation with the the recently introduced pension 63 affected. That comes out from one of the research institute of the Federal Employment Service, the Institute for Employment Research (IAB), published study. In 11.4 percent of the companies at least one employee has been excreted from the scheme or intends to soon.

Workers who have paid at least 45 years into the pension scheme, may since July 1, 2014 without deductions in the retirement leave. In the first ten months 300,000 workers have made an application to the German Pension Insurance. The IAB predicted until June 2018 a total of 580,000 applications would be made.
