Euro group chief Jeroen Dijsselbloem sells the high-level meeting on the Greek crisis in Brussels as a success. It should have been a “very good meeting”, Dijsselbloem said after a meeting with Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras and European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker. The talks would continue “in a few days”.
“It was a good, constructive meeting”, the EU Commission, whose President Juncker had invited to the meeting said. “There have been advances in the understanding of the respective positions of the other on the basis of various proposals.”Tsipras spoke in turn of “constructive and amicable discussions”.
