Only Friedrich Carl Janssen has really behind bars. The prison sentences against the three other ex-partner were suspended.
In the trial against the former management of the bank Sal. Oppenheim, the four former bosses of money house have been sentenced to prison terms. They would infidelity in two cases at the expense of the once largest European private bank committed, the Cologne regional court negotiation period decided on Thursday after more than two years.
The committee responsible for the risk management of the bank Friedrich Carl Janssen (71) was sentenced to a prison sentence of two years and ten months and is the only one in jail. The spokesman for the bank, Matthias Graf von Krockow (66), and responsible for the investment business Dieter Pfundt (62) were sentenced to two years imprisonment, Christopher von Oppenheim (49) to one year and eleven months. All three sentences were suspended. The former business partner of the former bank management, Josef Esch, the court sentenced because of negligent unauthorized Betreibens of banking transactions to pay a fine of 495,000 euros.
The process begun in 2013 to the demise of the traditional private bank Sal. Oppenheim was regarded as one of the largest criminal industry in recent years.
