In the trial against the former management of the bank Sal. Oppenheim, the four former bosses of money house have been sentenced to prison terms. The committee responsible for the risk management of the bank Friedrich Carl Janssen (71) was sentenced to a prison sentence of two years and ten months and is the only one in jail. The spokesman for the bank, Matthias Graf von Krockow (66), and responsible for the investment business Dieter Pfundt (62) were sentenced to two years imprisonment, Christopher von Oppenheim (49) to one year and eleven months. All three sentences were suspended. The process begun in 2013 to the demise of the traditional private bank Sal. Oppenheim was regarded as one of the largest criminal industry in recent years. In the criminal proceedings concerned a real estate business in Frankfurt and loans to the then already ailing and now bankrupt previous Arcandor Group. The factors under the control of the accused are said to have caused many millions transactions losses for the Bank. Sal.
