Athens (AFP) Banks in Greece will remain at least until Sunday closed further. The Finance Ministry in Athens based its decision on Thursday evening “with the need to protect the Greek financial system and the Greek economy in view of the liquidity shortage”. The Greek news agency Ana reported that banks could re-open on Monday, but will it continue to be restrictions on the cash payment.
