The largest ship in the world, the “CSCL Globe”, reached on Tuesday at dawn Hamburg and created in the Walter Hofer harbor wharf of EUR gate. The “CSCL Globe” is 400 meters long and 58.60 meters wide. Thus, the freighter is almost 60 feet longer than the largest ever aircraft carriers and 130 meters longer than the “Titanic”. There is even longer than the Empire State Building is high. The container ship can 19,100 standard containers (TEU) transport and belongs to China Shipping, one of the three Chinese state-owned shipping companies.
