The Anglo-Dutch oil giant Shell will pay in the dispute over oil spills in Nigeria 55 million pounds (70 million euros) to 15,600 fishermen and farmers from the Niger Delta. £ 35 million will be divided among the individual plaintiffs, 20 million to benefit the entire community, such as Shell announced on Wednesday.
