Hellas will agree with euro group meetings with donors – Reuters Germany


       

Athens (Reuters) – Greece seeks Finance Minister Yanis Varoufakis, according to a preliminary agreement with international donors his country at Euro Group meetings.


       

“The Euro Group meeting on April 24, there must be a preliminary result (the talks) provide, in accordance with the agreements on 20 February,” Varoufakis told the Greek newspaper “Naftemporiki” on Monday.


       

On 20 February, Greece had agreed with the Euro-partners on an extension of the current Help program for four months. Currently, creditors and the new government in Athens struggle for the payment of the last installment debt of the expiring utility in the amount of 7.2 billion euros. The donors have declared the submission of a sustainable approach to reform a condition for payment. Greece threatens in a few days insolvency, should it receive no further grants. In a coming together with IMF chief Christine Lagarde on Sunday Varoufakis had assured that his country will comply with all agreed requirements to creditors. [ID: nL6N0X300X]
