Computer: Strong iPhone sales starts alerting Apple Checkout – Times Online

Cupertino (AP) – Apple’s iPhone is selling strong after the holiday season. During the quarter, sales increased year on year by 40 percent to nearly 61.2 million units. According to the figures were well off.

Revenue in the end of March completed second fiscal

quarter increased 27 percent to 58 billion dollars. The gain even jumped by a third to $ 13.6 billion high as Apple announced after US market close on Monday.

To the shareholders are now an additional 70 billion dollars distributed. So they get a total of $ 200 billion of which 100 billion they already achieved. The shares rose after trading up 1.6 percent.
