At midnight expired the peace obligation in the wage

dispute between the union Verdi and Deutsche Post, now follow strikes in several states. The union called in Hesse alone on about a thousand postal workers for recusal, in Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland, Berlin and Brandenburg are asked a total of about a thousand people to work stoppages. The Post-management had presented several ideas on the reduction and flexibility of working hours, but excluded the question of wage compensation. Post-Human Resources Manager Melanie circle showed no understanding of the strikes: The Post had very constructive dealt with the Verdi-demand. They will do everything now to limit the impact of the strikes on customers.
