India is a partner country of the Hannover Messe – Hamburg evening paper

Chancellor Angela Merkel (CDU) has called for more intensive trade relations with India, this year’s partner country Hannover Messe. “Trade between Germany and India can be improved, although Germany has Europe’s largest trade partner of India,” Merkel said at the opening of the Industrial Fair in Hannover.

Merkel has criticized Germany’s backlog of digitization. “We just have to set a tooth in Europe, just as we need to define a tooth in Germany,” said the CDU politician.
