As early as April is in a Lidl store a bomb be exploded, now is known that behind probably put an extortion attempt. but to media reports with details the police will not comment before a press conference on Thursday.

The police arrested several suspects who allegedly blackmailed the discounter Lidl. According to information of the newspaper “Bild” the perpetrator (Kreis Recklinghausen) should have brought an explosive device exploded on 15 April at a branch in Herten. A saleswoman had been infringed.

A police spokesman did not comment these details and only confirmed that there were arrests for extortion of the discounter Lidl. Further information will be announced at a press conference on Thursday. Lidl not even commented, referring to the press office of the police.

The blackmailers are said to have threatened to ignite more bombs in the markets, reported “image”. According to the report, they have called for one million euros. On Tuesday two suspected perpetrators have been arrested now.

Citing a lawyer of the suspects said the “WDR” by a couple, that the police had taken.
