In “Hard Candy” now trained the liquidator – Rundfunk Berlin-Brandenburg

Vattenfall confirmed before the “Berliner Zeitung” that the energy companies have instructed several Hard Candy Studios turn off the power – because of considerable delays in payment. Since Thursday, most of the nine Hard Candy Studios in Berlin were closed, it said.

The Jopp AG operates eleven Fitness Clubs in Berlin, as it says on its website. This includes the brands “Super Women” and “juice fresh”. The fitness chain Hard Candy was founded several years ago by pop singer Madonna – named after their 2008 album. There are franchise studios in many countries.

The operators had the beginning of June in an interview with the “B.Z.” said that there had been a financial bottleneck in the short term. “We have put on the great tension of Madonna’s name and opened nine studios relatively quickly. For expansion and establishment of studios fall by three million euros”, Jürgen Jopp told the newspaper. Many construction projects, such as the Mall of Berlin, were but finished later than planned. “The situation is, however, now been resolved,” Jopp told the newspaper at the time.

An Israeli investor now wants to jump on the bandwagon and there are several new Hard Candy Studios in Germany, Austria and Switzerland scheduled.
